All eyes will be on MEC of Finance and e-Government Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko who is expected to present Gauteng’s Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement and the Adjustments Budget to a Virtual Sitting of the Legislature this Thursday.
According to her department, the MTBPS will outline how the Gauteng Provincial Government will, over the next three years, work within a challenging fiscal environment to resource its priorities and expand the delivery of quality public services to citizens.
In a terse statement, they further revealed that, MEC will also present the 2020/21 Adjustments Budget to cater for unforeseen and unavoidable expenditure.
