Goal oriented Finance MMC, Julie Suddaby is expected to deliver the City’s first budget speech for this Multi Party Government administration.
Connie Bapela Council Chambers is expected to be packed to the rafters with civic politicians and other stakeholders eager know more how Joburg finances will be spent for the 2022/23 financial year.
At a prior media briefing, Michelle Ashburner ,Cagey Deputy Director in the MMC’s office tactfully explained to the media the figures and information was embargoed.
However she revealed that IDP sessions were very good.

“Everybody had a say, budget was done in a collaborative manner. Consultative processes have been broadened widely, the joburg residents have spoken their hearts out, every joburg resident will be happy and the MMC is making sure everything is done properly,” she said..
