Lesego Nkuna, a contestant for the prestigious Mrs South Africa title, joined forces with Toyota Hatfield branch, Sunnyside McDonald’s branch, and the Nkhumane Children’s Care NGO to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
On the 16th of June 2023, they collaborated to impart important early childhood education fundamental skills in North West, South Africa.
As a director of the Nkhumane Children’s Care NGO, Nkuna utilized this year’s Youth Day to promote her literacy initiative known as Reading Initiative Day.
The event took place at Thlaloganyo Primary School in the North West province, where Nkuna and her partners conducted numerous interactive and child-friendly literacy masterclasses.
They also provided learning materials and food parcels for Grade 0 and Grade 1 pupils, making a significant contribution to their educational and nutritional needs.
