FINALISED TEAM SA READY FOR ACTION AT PARIS 2024

Although the Paris 2024 Olympics only officially begins at Friday’s opening ceremony, competition starts on  Wednesday, with Team SA involved in rugby sevens action at the iconic Stade de France.

The men come up against Ireland in Pool A at 5.30pm, followed by a match against New Zealand at 9.30pm.

On Thursday there’s more rugby sevens, skateboarding and archery.

Team SA is being represented in 19 different codes by a total number of 138 athletes, with a few changes from the two previously announcements made by SASCOC. The squad also has 9 reserves for a number of the different codes.

Final additions to the squad have been made and the names of those added have an asterisk (*) next to them.
