PARALYMPICS!!! WHO TO WATCH:TEAM SA IN ACTION TODAY

There are four sports in action involving Team SA competitors on day two of the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Athletics starts, with bronze medallist from Tokyo 2020, Sheryl James, involved in a straight final in the women’s T37 200m.

Boccia pool action continues, while Nathan Hendricks is again the sole Team SA swimmer in action, in the men’s S13 100m backstroke. Elsewhere, there is tennis at Roland Garris where there are five Team SA players taking to the clay courts.

Women’s individual, BC3, Preliminary Pool B (2pm): Elanza Jordaan vs Ana Costa (Portugal)

Men’s individual, BC3, Preliminary Pool A (9.40pm): Korabo Morapedi vs William Arnott (GBR)

SWIMMING

Men’s 100m backstroke S13, heats (11.06am): Nathan Hendricks

WHEELCHAIR TENNIS

Men’s singles, first round (12noon): Alwande Sikhosana vs Gustavo Carneiro Silva (Bra)

Quad doubles, quarter-final (12noon): Donald Ramphadi and Lucas Sithole vs Cayulef and Perez (Chile)

Women’s doubles, first round (12noon): KG Montjane and Mariska Venter vs Fairbank/Morch (France)
