KAIZER CHIEFS GEAR UP FOR CARLING BLACK LABEL CUP CLASH AGAINS SUPERSPORT UNITED

After a lengthy break that included the FIFA International week, Kaizer Chiefs return to competitive action at 20:00 on Saturday, 19 October, as they face off against SuperSport United in the Carling Black Label Cup at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The 16-team competition presents an opportunity for Amakhosi to redeem themselves after last season’s first-round exit. With renewed determination, the team seeks an improved performance from last year in the second domestic cup competition of the campaign.

Chiefs will be buoyed by their recent success against their opponents. The two teams return to Polokwane where they last met in April when Amakhosi emerged victorious.

Fans are urged to rally behind their team, replicating the impressive turnout witnessed in the season’s opening matches. Tickets are now available at Ticketpro, starting from R50.

This encounter marks Kaizer Chiefs’ third away fixture this season, with the team’s previous successes on the road – including their triumph in the Cufa Cup in Bloemfontein this past weekend – instilling confidence within the Amakhosi family. The players are poised to carry this momentum into upcoming matches, beginning with the clash against Matsatsantsa.
