One of Ekhurhuleni’s Amapiano, deejay, producer and hitmaker Mick Man, known for his hit tracks like “African Dance” and “Stay With Me,” is proud to announce the release of his new masterpiece album, “Uminathi.” This music project is more than just an album, but a dedication. The album is a tribute to the deejay’s first child, Uminathi, which has made a shift in his creative music journey as a new father.
“This album is my way of honouring her and thanking God for the blessing she is,” says Mick Man. “Becoming a father has changed my life in the most powerful way and this chapter has shown a different side of me; more grounded, more emotional, more intentional and music lovers will hear that in the music. Every song carries moments of joy, deep reflection, and pure love.”
Uminathi is a collaborative musical project, featuring some of the biggest names in the Amapiano scene, including Kelvin Momo, De Mthuda, Sol Phenduka, and Sfarzo Rtee, among others. Their collective energy, skills and talent have contributed to bringing the Uminathi album vision to life.
Uminathi is now available on all major streaming platforms.
