On the other hand outcome results today will also decide who gets an automatic relegation and lastly who gets to go to the mini league playoffs series with with the 2nd and 3rd placed league-finished teams of the National First Division.
As things stand, Mamelodi Sundowns are on the summit of the log with 68 points after completing their campaign two weeks ago. They are followed by Pirates with 66 points.
A win for Pirates against Orbit in Mbombela Stadium will hand them the PSL title and send Orbit to either relegation or Playoffs depending on whether bottom placed Magesi wins their last match against Richards Bay at home. A lose for Bucs will hand Bafana Ba Style their 9th title without even kicking a ball.
Chippa and Marumo Gallants are also not safe. If they hope to keep their PSL status they must win their last matches or will either find themselves in the same precarious situation.
