Telkom quarterfinals

IT’S STILL A SUPPORTERS’ GAME IN THE TELKOM KNOCKOUT QUARTERFINALS

The Telkom Knockout (TKO) shifts into high gear this weekend as the quarterfinal matches get into motion to narrow the candidate list for trophy honours down to four teams. For supporters of the beautiful game, the pool of chances to walk away with a grand prize of R1 million as well as instant R3000 cash giveaways and recharge givebacks is still very much wide courtesy of the TKO fan competition.

“Telkom Knockout is very much a supporters’ tournament and we’re involving them more in the game beyond cheering from the stands and couches,” says Thami Majola, Marketing and Comms Exec at Telkom.

By simply dialing *123#, purchasing a bundle on Mo’Nice and predicting the score, Telkom prepaid subscribers can stand a chance to win instant R3 000 cash vouchers throughout the tournament and a grand prize of R1 million. The competition is open to existing and new customers that purchase and activate a new prepaid Telkom SIM card. What’s more, fans who predict the score correctly will get their Mo’nice purchase multiplied by the highest score line each round of matches – guaranteed.

“What this means is that if the match between Team A and Team B, for example, produces 5 goals and is the highest score tally against other matches in that round, every Telkom customer who predicted the score correctly will get their purchase multiplied 5 times,” adds Majola.

Telkom will also be rolling out on the ground activations on Friday, 02nd and Saturday 03rd November from 10am till 5pm where fans can win match tickets and other giveaways. Venues are as follows: Bridge City Mall, Philani Mall, KwaMyandu shopping Centre, Umlazi Mega City and Seshego Circle in Seshego, Limpopo.

Tickets for the quarter final are now on sale. They are selling at R60 (for Moses Mabhida fixtures) and R40 for the rest of the matches. Children under the age of 12 will pay R15. Tickets are sold at TicketPro outlets and Spar countrywide.
