Coaching course for women

23 January 2019 – The South African Football Association (SAFA) is continuing from where they left off last year with the nationwide training of coaches.

As part of the Association’s Vision 2022, the Association has set itself a target of training at least 10 000 coaches to ensure that development at grassroots level is foreseen by trained, accredited and qualified coaches.

The next stop is SAFA Umkhanyakude in Hluhluwe in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

A total of 23 female coaches from the region kicked off their SAFA D License coaching course on Wednesday, 23 January which will conclude on Sunday, 27 January.

The five-day course will be conducted by Mr Maxwell Ndlovu who will be assisted by Ms Anna Nyman.

The Association will be releasing the upcoming coaching course calendar in due course.

The SAFA D License course is the entry level coaching course which accredits coaches to work with young children.
