  • Relebohile Mofokeng, one of South Africa’s most promising young footballers, whose journey from the streets of Sharpeville to national and Orlando Pirates stardom has been shaped by talent, humility, and unwavering family support. From his early days honing his skills in backyard games and Kasi tournaments, Rele’s potential quickly propelled him to the SAFA Transnet School of Excellence and later to the Buccaneers, where he made his first-team debut shortly after excelling in the DStv Diski Challenge. At the heart of his rise are his parents, Naomi and Sechaba, whose love, sacrifices, and belief have anchored him since day one. Grounded in strong values and the reminder to “know where you come from”, Rele continues to chase a brighter future for himself and his family while inspiring fans across the country.

Toni McCann – Ultra Trail runner

adidas TERREX athlete Toni McCann, one of the world’s leading trail runners, and her mother, Carey, whose unwavering support, encouragement, and emotional strength have carried Toni through the highs and lows of elite competition. Now based in Annecy and competing on the global stage, Toni has claimed major victories, including the Otter African Trail Run, OCC by UTMB, and most recently the CCC by UTMB. Behind every podium is a quieter story of sacrifice, resilience, and a mother’s constant presence. This was most evident at the 2025 Otter African Trail Run, where an ankle injury forced Toni to withdraw while leading; instead of stepping back, she chose to support fellow runners. Carey is not only her mother but her confidante and anchor, reminding her that bravery, effort, and heart matter more than any result.
