The Betway Premiership once again delivered unforgettable matchday moments as Betway celebrated the fifth and sixth Betway Premiership S’bonise & Win Dial Up winners of the 2025/26 season in Polokwane and East London this past weekend.
The first winner was crowned during the Magesi FC vs Golden Arrows fixture at Seshego Stadium on Friday evening, where Robert Mashia walked away with R50 000.00 after being selected as the winner. As an active Betway account holder, he qualified for the increased Betway Premiership S’bonise & Win Dial Up prize, making the moment even more significant. The cheque was officially handed over by Betway Squad member Oupa Manyisa, adding to a memorable evening for supporters in Polokwane.
Following the announcement, Mashia shared a heartfelt story, revealing that a portion of his winnings will go towards securing a new prosthetic leg for his younger brother, who has outgrown his current one. His decision highlights the tangible and deep personal impact the S’bonise & Win initiative continues to have on supporters across the country.
The excitement continued in East London on Saturday evening as Chippa United hosted Richards Bay FC at Buffalo City Stadium. Another supporter, Khayalethu Thu was crowned the sixth Dial Up winner, also walking away with R50 000.00 after qualifying as an active Betway account holder. The cheque was presented by Betway Squad member Lebohang Mokoena, marking another special moment on the road.
Upon being named the winner, Thu shared that he will use the money to settle his children’s school fees, further highlighting the real difference the initiative continues to make in the lives of fans.
Betway Premiership S’bonise & Win Dial Up fixtures are enhanced additions of Betway’s S’bonise & Win campaign. While regular matchdays reward fans who show up in their club regalia, Dial Up matches raise the stakes significantly, giving supporters the opportunity to win up to R50 000.00 if they are active Betway account holders.
With six Dial Up fixtures now complete and 90 winners crowned through the broader S’bonise & Win campaign this season, 10 S’bonise & Win Dial Up matches still to come, with the highly anticipated Soweto Derby on 28 February set as the 7th fixture of the season. Betway S’bonise & Win Terms & Conditions
To qualify as an entrant, the participant/ entrant must:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Purchase a valid match ticket for any broadcast Betway Premiership fixture
- Be wearing home team regalia or colours
- A natural citizen or permanent resident
- The winner will only ever be contacted in person at the stadium by a Betway representative
Betway S’bonise & Win mechanics are as follows:
- The SuperSport outside broadcast team will select a fan in the stands between the first 30-minutes of the game
- The Betway representative will receive communication from the SuperSport outside broadcast team with an image of the winner and position in the stadium
- Once the winner is found, the Agency Stadium Rep will ask qualifying questions:
- Verification that they are over 18, proof required.
- Verification of match day ticket.
- Willingness to be on camera.
- They must be sober-minded until the end of the game and willing to move from their seat at any moment during the game.
- Confirm with the Betway call centre that the winner has an active account if the winner indicates they have one.
- A fan can only win once during the entire season.
The Betway S’bonise & Win prize is as follows:
R10 000.00 cash prize or R20 000.00 if they have a valid and active Betway Account.
