The City of Johannesburg will host Revenue Open Days in Regions A and F on Saturday, 28 February 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening direct community engagement.
The Open Days are designed to provide residents with face-to-face assistance on municipal account City of Johannesburg brings municipal services closer to residents in Regions A and F
matters, enabling quicker resolution of queries and improved customer experience through accessible, community-based support.
Residents in Region A will be assisted at 21 Clairvaux Road, Tirong Estate, Kya Sands, while Region F residents can access services at 61 Jorissen Street, Thuso House, Braamfontein.
Kgamanyane Maphologela, Director: Communications and Stakeholder Management in Group Finance, reaffirmed the City’s commitment to responsive and community-focused service delivery.
“These Open Days allow us to meet residents where they are and provide direct assistance on municipal account matters. By bringing services closer to communities, we are strengthening trust, improving turnaround times, and ensuring that customer concerns are addressed efficiently and transparently,” said Maphologela.
Services available on the day
Residents will be assisted with:
- Municipal account queries (water, electricity, rates and taxes)
- Prepaid meter support
- e-Joburg registration assistance
- Applications for rebates
- Expanded Social Package (ESP) registration
- Pensioner rebates
- Applications for the City’s Debt Relief Programme
Eligible customers seeking to regularise their municipal accounts are encouraged to apply for the Debt Relief Programme during the Open Day. Residents with existing reference numbers are urged to bring them along to expedite assistance. Individuals assisting others must present a proxy letter together with all relevant supporting documentation.
Residents are further encouraged to bring their latest municipal statement and identification documents to ensure efficient service on the day.
