Coach Senong

3 October 2018 – Hardly a week after returning from Netherlands with a Diploma in Master Coaching, u20 Men’s National Team (Amajita) mentor Thabo Senong has attained an Executive Sports Management programme certificate from Nelson Mandela University.

This is a 12 month programme offered by FIFA/CIES in conjunction with the Nelson Mandela University.

The programme is meant to develop sports leaders on the continent and Senong was among the few graduates from across the African continent of this special achievement.

“I believe that the journey of learning must never stop for any individual, sports leader or coach. It must be a never ending process,” said an elated Senong who last week came out of Netherlands with a Diploma in Master Coaching from Johan Cruyff Institute in Amsterdam.

The Executive Sports Management programme was mostly attended by sports leaders from mainly sub-Saharan Africa with students drawn mostly from South Africa, Namibia, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Kenya.

All the graduates received their certificates at the Nelson Mandela University on Tuesday, 2 October 2018.
