Word of Mouth Pictures congratulates founder and executive director Duma Ndlovu who will be among a list of eminent persons to be bestowed with National Orders by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The awards to be held on 28 April 2023 are the highest awards that South Africa bestows on its citizens and eminent foreign nationals who have contributed towards the advancement of democracy and have made a significant impact on improving the lives of South Africans.
Ndlovu will be bestowed with the prestigious Order Of Ikhamanga in Silver for his sterling work in the television and film industry in South Africa.
The decorated poet, filmmaker, producer, journalist and Playwright is known for his commitment to developing arts and culture in our country.
This feather will be an edition in Ndlovu’s hat who was recently conferred with his second doctorate by the University of Zululand.
He is well known for creating award-winning shows such as Muvhango, Imbewu: The Seed and Uzalo. His recent television shows include Umkhokha and Komkhulu amongst others. He was the chairman of the South African Music Awards. He is a published author and has directed and produced a string of television and theatrical productions.
