Four MTN8 Premiership semi-finalists teams  will slug it out for the final spot this saturday.

The first match will feature Mamelodi Sundows and Orlando Pirates at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville in Tshwane at 15:00 and later in the afternoon Sekhukhune United will face off with Stellenbosch FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at 6pm.

Ahead of these mouth-watering clashes  coaches of these outfits previewed their upcoming  matches in front of a packed media at PSL headquarters in Parktown.

Stellies Gaffer Steve Barker, pointed out they started the first leg very well by not conceding any goals after beating Sekhukhune 2-0.

“ We achieved our objective scoring some goals in the first leg. Having played in last year’s final we would like to play in another final. We are very aware the match is halfly done. We are aware Sekhukhune is a good team but we will take the game to them.”

Sekhukhune Coach, Eric Tinkler pointed they are facing a mammoth task and it was not going to be an easy match also arguing he treats this clash as a second half.

“Stellies is not an easy team to break down. We just need to rectify some mistakes and possibly turn them into results.”

Tinkler also conceded, he has a history of not being able to beat Stellies arguing that this dates back to his time at Cape Town City.

“We need to be positive and get an early goal  that will put a lot of pressure on them. Players understand the importance of turning the results around,” He said.

Pirates Coach, Abdeslam Quaddou who recently took the reigns ahead of the new season is having an arduous task to defend what his predecessor Jose Riveiro has achieved by winning the MTN8 cup in the past three consecutive seasons.

The Buccaneers come to this second leg match with a 1-1 draw in the first leg with the Tshwane giants.

However he seemed not perturbed arguing that both teams played fantastic football in the first leg.

He promised to make the fans happy citing that he understands fans are sometimes impatient.

“It’s a tricky match for both teams, they have to be smart and clever when approaching this match. We have good talented players, and everyone   selected will have to give his best.”

Miguel Cardoso, Brazillians coach, told journalists some knockout matches are very tough.

“We are tactically prepared for this match. At Sundows its important to win trophies. We have a clear intention to win this match.”

Pressed about the away goal rule that gives Downs advantage. He said,  It will  be a big mistake for any coach to try and manage a draw. We need to be aggressive enough and I hope the stadium will be packed with dozens of Sundowns fans.

Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department (TMPD) issued a stern warning for fans to come early to the Pirates vs Downs clash, arguing parking is limited.

Isaac Mahamba, Spokesman for TMPD pointed out parking was limited in that precinct.

“Our members will be visible in numbers to control motorists. Parking on the streets will be strictly prohibited. Cars found parked on the streets will be towed and impounded and to release your car you will have to pay a non negotiable  fine of R2370 to retrieve your vehicle.”
