In a drive to cater for beer lovers who have lifestyle choices without compromising on taste, Master Brewers of Heineken has done it again! This time around they have presented their latest innovation- Heineken 0.0 alcohol free lager.
According to them this beer was brewed with a unique recipe for a distinct balanced taste and only 69 calories per 330 ml bottle.
This novelty beer was recently revealed at an exclusive launch held at the pop-up bar in Melrose Arch Johannesburg.
The brand’s iconic green label has been turned blue, the colour associated with the alcohol free category.
The integrated launch campaign includes a TV commercial, digital OOH and experiential activations plus on and off trade promotions.
It was also revealed that this unique and refreshing alcohol free beer is designed to meet consumer needs due to strong growth in the alcohol free segment and the global cultural trend of living a balanced healthy lifestyle.
Furthermore Master Brewers stresses and points out that all over the world people are moving towards a healthier lifestyle preferences, which means a moderate consumption of alcohol.
“That’s why we have created a recipe defined by its refreshing fruity notes and soft malty body for a perfectly balanced alcohol-free beer that deserves the Heineken mark”. They argued.
Lauren Muller, Heineken Marketing Manager is on record arguing that you can enjoy the unique and refreshing taste of this beer anytime of the day.
“Whether after exercise or while watching an early morning game,” She said.
Willem van Woesberghe, Global Craft and Brew Master of Heineken argued that removing alcohol fro the regular 5%Heineken beer would have been easy.
“But It wouldn’t deliver the best tasting non-alcoholic beer. Heineken 0.0 is brewed from scratch and has a perfectly balanced taste with refreshing fruity notes and softy malty body,” Woesberghe argued.
