IT’S STILL GAME ON!!! FOR WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT AT MANDEVILLE

In case you are still in the dark or in slumber land,  Sasol and WBSA recently   announced the “Live the Impossible” Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, taking place at the Mandeville Sports Club, Kensington from 23 – 28 June 2024.

This highly anticipated event  feature teams from South Africa and  Kuwait, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of wheelchair basketball athletes.

The “Live the Impossible” tournament aims to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and inclusivity in sports. It provides a platform for athletes to display their skills and compete at the highest level, inspiring fans and challenging perceptions about sports for the differently abled bodied persons.

“We are honoured to support the ‘Live the Impossible’ tournament and to witness the extraordinary talent of these athletes,” said Dean Somerset, Sasol Group Brand and Sponsorship Manager. “Our partnership with WBSA underscores our commitment to promoting inclusivity and empowering individuals to overcome challenges both on and off the field. The tournament promises an exciting week of basketball, beginning with the opening match on Monday, 24 June with the South Africa U23 Men going head-to-head with the South African Senior Men’s team at 13:00. Fans are invited to attend and cheer for their favourite teams.
