Moroka Swallows FC have confirmed Andile Jali’s signing, bringing the experienced midfielder to Soweto on a two-year deal.
Jali was a free agent after his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns expired at the end of last season.
However, Swallows chairman David Mogashoa finally confirmed the deal on Gagasi FM on Friday.Jali is a hugely experienced player, having won numerous trophies in his career, including six DStv Premiership titles, one Nedbank Cup and three MTN8 Cups.
Before the announcement, the 33-year-old had been linked to several clubs, including Swallows FC, Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch FC.
Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca were also said to be tracking the gritty defensive midfielder.
