All eyes and front-burner will be on Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi tomorrow when he delivers the State of the Province Address (SOPA) in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni.
This SOPA also marks the opening of the Gauteng Legislature for the 7th administration. According to a terse statement issued by his office, “The SOPA provides an opportunity for the Premier to table the Gauteng Provincial Government’s Plan of Action over the next 5 years under the Government of Provincial Unity (GPU).”
Furthermore, During the SOPA, Premier Lesufi is expected to also give a report on the progress made on the commitments during the previous SOPA in February 2024.
