20 December 2019 – KwaMahlobo Games tournament graduate and ambassador, Reneilwe Letsholonyane applauded the quality of play in the opening matches of this year’s LaLiga sponsored KwaMahlobo Games.

Day 1 of the 23rd edition of the competition kicked off at the tournament’s home in Meadowlands where six exciting clashes took place, with the seventh match being postponed due to heavy rains.

“Yeye” as the midfield maestro is affectionately known heaped praise on the standard of play from the teams, saying that they have set the tone for what promises to be an exciting and memorable tournament.

“Clubs normally take a game or two to get into their momentum but what we saw today was a clear indication of how much the standard of the tournament has grown over the years. From what I saw today, I am confident that people will enjoy a highly competitive and entertaining tournament thanks to the organisers and LaLiga” said an elated Letsholonyane.
