LUKHANYO AM ENERGISED AS THE NEW DANUP AMBASSADOR

Lukhanyo Am has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador on one of Danone’s top brands, DanUp.  As a brand, DanUp is committed to giving consumers the inner and outer courage to live their truth and is proud to partner with the South African rugby player. 

“Lukhanyo is the quintessential DanUp man; a professional rugby player for the national team and the Cell C Sharks” says Thandeka Ngqumeya, Marketing Director for Danone Southern Africa.  As a young man hailing from King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape, Lukhanyo transcended from his humble background to become one of SA’s top rugby players and continues to unify South Africans through the game.  “His ever-determined mindset to work relentlessly towards his dream is a shared value for DanUp, providing never-wavering on-the-go nutrition as well as a boost” added Ngqumeya. 

In 2016, DanUp infiltrated the Mageu category with the first of its kind multigrain and yoghurt blend designed to keep  consumers fuller for longer.
