Finance MEC Jacob Mamabolo will present the 2023 Gauteng Provincial Budget Speech to the Legislature on Thursday, 09 March 2023. This Budget comes towards the end of the 6th Provincial Administration.
The 2023 MTEF Budget will therefore reflect on the financial performance of the province; and provide details of how available resources will be used, within a tight fiscal environment, to fund key priorities of the provincial government going forward.
These priorities include the fight against crime and the commitment to change the living conditions of people in the townships, informal settlements, and hostels.
