One level 4 learner at Sydney Maseko Community learning centre (CLC)in Central Western Jabavu, Soweto is expected to be buried tomorrow after being stoned to death when he refused to be mugged and robbed by ruthless thugs at Meadowlands Meadowpoint Mall.
Prince Gumede, an SRC President at the school and a part-time journalism cadet was a generous,dedicated, hardworking and skilful young man.
His classmates are struggling to contend that he is no more. There was a sombre mood in his class when his passing was announced.
“ As young as he was, Gumede was an inspirational learner to many who was destined to greater things in life,” said one of his classmates Keabetswe Mofokeng.
