1. The past has a way of catching up with you
Tariq (Elton Landrew) experiences a life-changing moment when he learns that his estranged daughter has died in a tragic car accident. She leaves behind her seven-year-old daughter, Katinka (Alexis Newman). What begins as devastating news also presents an unexpected opportunity for reconciliation. Suddenly, Tariq is given a chance to rebuild a connection with family he believed he had lost forever.
2. Fatherhood often requires sacrifices that go unnoticed
Marco (Neels van Jaarsveld) put his career on hold for a decade to raise his children, while his wife, Cecile (Rolanda Marais), focused on building her political career. Now that the children are older, Marco is trying to reclaim his place in the workforce, but the road back to professional success is far from easy.

Eben (Edwin van der Walt) has worked hard to create a safe and stable life for his daughter. However, his world is turned upside down when her biological mother returns to South Africa and wants to be part of her life again. A heated confrontation over Bernard’s alleged affair with a colleague sets off a chain of events that changes their lives forever. The episode ends with a shocking car accident that could alter the course of their family’s future.
