Muvhango actress Candy Magidimisa Is spreading her wings.
The 30-year-old who plays Shaz Mukwevho is dipping her hands into business.
Her recently launched marketing company, King Rose PMS has been in business for only a few months
but is already making waves in the marketing space.
With more than 10 people under its employ, King Rose PMS' catalogue of clientele boasts impressive
clients including working relationships with J&R Accountants, Limpopo Government, and a bank among
others.
She says starting a marketing business was always a dream she had even before she joined Muvhango.
Post-lockdown she revamped her business plan and kicked off.
“I am excited about this business venture. It is something that took many years to birth. This is my
safety net. Our industry is very fragile. Today you are doing well and the next you are no longer
relevant. Knowing that I have something to fall on gives me peace,” she shared.
Her business employs 80% of females and young people in order to bridge the gap in the sector.
With offices in Limpopo and Johannesburg Magidimisa says she does not only aims at building an empire
but also at creating sustainable jobs.
“ Through this business, I aim at creating jobs and people who will themselves later be employers” she
explains.
According to Magidimisa spokesperson, Thanduxolo Jindela, King Rose PMS offers several production
and marketing solutions for clients of any size. The business is fast growing and is in a good direction.
“ The company offers strategies, and marketing solutions for clients across different marketing and
communications platforms on behalf of clients, “ He explained.
