EXPECT THREE EXHILARATING DAYS AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC AFRICA SPORTS FESTIVAL

The Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Community Development in the City of Johannesburg, Cllr Lubabalo Magwentshu, encourages residents to attend the unmissable Arnold Classic Sport Festival in their numbers.

Cllr Magwentshu says the City is honoured to host the spectacular event, which will have such a great economic impact in the City with different guests from all over the world coming in for this festival.

This year’s Arnold Classic Sport Festival will take place at Ruimsig Stadium in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, from 19 May to 21 May 2023 with a full swing of entertainment for the whole family between 8am till late.

“The Arnold Classic Africa Sports Festival is a legacy event that presents an opportunity for children to learn and explore different sporting codes, experiment for themselves with arts and culture activities and even showcase their own talents,” says Cllr Magwentshu.

The three-day multi-sport and art festival promises sports fanatics a weekend packed with over 70 different sporting codes, which will include monster trucks, mini aero planes, night aerobics, petting zoos, chess, angling, martial arts, arm wrestling, slap fighting, strongman and professional wrestling.

The City will well-represented by the Health Department, Joburg Theatre, JMPD, EMS, Libraries and Information Services, CRUM and the Johannesburg Zoo to highlight the services they provide to the community.

The Arnold Classic Africa Sports Festival has grown to be one of the iconic sporting events across the world with potential of bringing athletics together, boosting their mental health and physique as well as creating a shared platform for all sport and communities to share their love and passion with others and similar sport communities in one space.

Directors and partners of Arnold Schwarzenegger Price Wayne and Michelle Price say the event promises to be a celebration of sports, arts and entertainment with exciting ventures to look forward to.

“We are looking forward to providing guests with an unforgettable experience. We invite everyone to join us at the Ruimsig Stadium in Roodepoort for a weekend filled with fun and excitement,” they said.
