As a testament to this alliance, FUTURELIFE® has become the official nutrition partner at the highly anticipated Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation Soccer Tournament, scheduled to be held from 24th June to 16th July 2023 at the Kgotso Sports grounds in Phiri, Soweto.

The  Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation Tournament, open to teams from provinces across South Africa, both male and female between the ages of 15 and 20, provides an incredible platform for players to showcase their talent. A staggering 1800+ aspiring soccer stars are expected to participate in the tournament and will not only be competing for the title in their age groups but will also be looking to secure one of the six guaranteed spots at the prestigious SuperSport United Academy.

As part of the sponsorship, FUTURELIFE® will feed every player from all participating soccer teams throughout the tournament, ensuring they receive balanced nutrition with nutrients and functional ingredients to support their immune system and help them to perform at their best. Furthermore, FUTURELIFE® will also have a nutrition expert at the tournament who will offer advice and guidance on proper nutrition and its impact on everyday health, and sports performance, further emphasising the brand’s commitment to the overall health and well-being of the participants.

Tshabalala says that he is really excited about partnering with a business that shares his vision: “With FUTURELIFE® by our side, we can make a positive impact on the lives of young South Africans, both on and off the field.” He adds that since its inception in 2013, the Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation Tournament will not only showcase South Africa’s extraordinary soccer talent, but it will also promote the holistic development of young athletes. “The inclusion of dieticians and nutritional support from FUTURELIFE® is a game changer for us,” he adds.

Mark Bunn, FUTURELIFE® Managing Director says that the decision to partner with Siphiwe Tshabalala and his foundation was an easy one to make. “We both share a deep passion for making a lasting impact on the youth of South Africa. Through the powerful combination of Siphiwe Tshabalala’s passion and impact on the future stars of soccer and FUTURELIFE®’s Smart Nutrition expertise, we are confident that together we can make a tangible and transformative impact on our aspiring players.”
