ORLANDO PIRATES VS MAMELODI SUNDOWNS: ROAD CLOSURERS AND PARKING GUIDE

Orlando Stadium is gearing up for an exciting DStv Premiership encounter on Wednesday night as Orlando Pirates host Mamelodi Sundowns. 

Tickets for the highly-anticipated fixture are available online at TicketPro as well as selected outlets nationwide. 

In anticipation of a significant turnout, measures have been taken to ensure a hassle-free match-day experience for all fans.

Road Closures 

Several road closures on routes in and around Orlando Stadium will be implemented on Wednesday.

Roads where traffic will be affected include:

●    Klipspruit Valley Road and Martha Louw Street
●    Mooki and Mofokeng Streets 
●    Mooki and Martha Louw Streets
●    Mooki and Masopha Streets
●    Mooki and Rathebe Streets 
●    Mooki and Martha Louw (Community Hall)

Drop & Go Services 

Hospitality Suite Guests

A shuttle service from FNB Stadium to Orlando Stadium has been made available to hospitality suite guests.

The service will operate from 16:00, with the last shuttle to the match venue departing at 18:30.

After the game, shuttles from Orlando Stadium are scheduled to depart at 21:15, continuing to transport guests until 22:30.

The hospitality parking area and PS13 have been reserved for parking. 

General Access

A Park and Ride service operated by Top 6 Taxis from FNB Stadium is available for general patrons at R20 per single trip. 

Specially marked minibus taxis will be onsite at FNB Stadium from 16:00, and the last shuttle to Orlando Stadium departs at 18:30.

When leaving Orlando Stadium, fans can access the shuttles at the Rea Vaya route on Mooki Street from 21:15, with the last shuttle expected to leave the venue at 22:30.

Fans are advised to be wary of illegal car guards hovering around the stadium. 

Schools Parking

An additional 2 000 parking spaces are available at nearby schools and public areas around Orlando Stadium at a cost of R30 per vehicle.

The special designated areas are as follows:

  – Orlando High
  – Lereshe
  – Leratong
  – Zithathele
  – Lofentse
  – AB Xuma
  – Rugby Field
  – Klipspruit Valley Parking
  – Klipspruit Soccer Fields
  – Emadalweni
  – Shomang
  – Selelekela

Fans wishing to attend the game are urged to arrive early. No tickets will be sold at the stadium.
