MOFOKENG NAMED PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Relebohile Mofokeng is the Orlando Pirates Player of the Month for November and December, as voted on by the Bucs faithful.

The 21-year-old’s quality has shone through in recent weeks when he emerged among the league’s standout performers, proving crucial in what has been a successful period for the Buccaneers. His stellar performances over the past month included a crucial goal in the Carling Knockout final, which ended his side’s 13-year wait for the title.

Mofokeng’s overall impact helped him notch up the award with 49% of the votes, ahead of Oswin Appollis who received 18%. It’s the first individual award in the 2025/26 season for the Bucs star, who has already bagged a few accolades in what is still a young career. His recent form bodes well for his next challenge as he swaps club colours for those of South Africa ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
