ADIDAS UNVEILS ITS FEDERATION AWAY AHEAD OF FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ AT AN IMMERSIVE EVENT IN LOS ANGELES

 adidas cemented its position as the original football culture brand by taking over Downtown Los Angeles to unveil the official away kits for 26 International Federations ahead of this summer’s FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 tournament.

Revealed during the “THREE LANES” event, the Federation Away kits beared the iconic adidas Originals Trefoil logo for the first time since 1990 – honouring the brand’s unmatched legacy in the beautiful game. This milestone marks a significant shift with the integration of the iconic lifestyle Trefoil branding, bridging the gap between elite athletics and global fashion.

The kit designs for the entire roster of 26 adidas partner federations – Argentina, Mexico, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, Colombia, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, Chile, Algeria, Sweden, Hungary, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Wales, Costa Rica, UAE, Venezuela, Qatar, Ukraine, South Africa, Greece, Curaçao – and Jamaica, that was revealed already in February – blend past, present, and future with colours and graphic details inspired by each nation’s unique heritage

The immersive Los Angeles unveiling brought “gridlock” to the city’s Lower Grand Tunnel. A lineup of performers curated by pgLang, including GRAMMY® winning producer and DJ KAYTRANADA alongside DJs Jadaboo and Noodles. A headlining set from Baby Keem, just off the release of his anticipated second studio album Ca$ino, and recent adidas Originals campaign, transformed the everyday image of a traffic jam into an unexpected celebration in true LA style.

Going far beyond a normal product launch, the reveal transformed a singular moment into a bona fide street party – bursting with music, movement, and creative energy. Bringing football’s musical heartbeat to the fore, attendees were treated to a spectacle of vibrant cultural convergence as the vehicular standstill gave way to energetic performances in the streets, with football freestylers and street food trucks completing the scene.


Commemorating the landmark moment, adidas welcomed guests including: Kendall Jenner, Damson Idris, Hoyeon, Gabbriette, Edison Chen, Asap Nast, Devon Lee Carlson, and Skip Marley.

As the world prepares for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ kickoff on June 11, 2026, these kits serve as a reminder of football’s unique power to bring together communities from every corner of the globe. The official federation kits will be released to the public starting March 20.
