- The jersey is inspired by the stars in the sky on nights away from the Santiago Bernabéu, as Real Madrid take on club teams in Spain and around the world
- An abstract, astral graphic features across the entirety of the jersey, while an orange base is punctuated by the hues of the night sky through glow blue, black-blue metallic and night navy accents
- The Real Madrid CF away kit is available today, via Real Madrid CF stores, shop.realmadrid.com, adidas retail stores, and adidas.com/football.
Today, adidas recently revealed the new Real Madrid CF away kit for the start of the 2024/25 season. With a bold all-over graphic across the shirt, its design is born from the idea that no matter where this great team competes on the biggest away stages, the Madridistas are always connected to home by the stars in the night sky.
The jersey’s eye-catching orange colour is familiar to the Club and its fans, having become a popular addition to previous away and third kit collections. Signifying optimism, happiness, and enthusiasm, and selected to give a nod to the iconic 2013/14 third kit worn during a hugely successful season on the European stage – the colour aims to reflect the feeling of pride and hope that everyone associated with the Club have towards its future.
The orange base is complemented by accent details in the colour of a night sky – Glow Blue, Black-Blue Metallic and Night Navy – which are found across the collar, adidas logo, Club’s crest, sponsors logos and the iconic adidas three stripes which run down each shoulder.
Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at adidas said: “Each season, we have the privilege to reconceptualise the away jerseys of the clubs we serve, delivering iconic looks that can be enjoyed by both long-standing supporters and the next generation of fans. This season’s Real Madrid away kit is no different – its hues and vibrant colour choice reflect a club reaching for the stars with an exciting new generation of talent – and we can’t wait to see this eye-catching jersey being worn in the streets and on the pitch, when Real Madrid is playing away from the bright lights of Santiago Bernabéu.”
Crafted for performance and to help provide world-class players with the confidence to play under pressure, the lightweight jerseys feature the latest in adidas technology which has been created in close collaboration with players throughout the development process. The on-field version of the jersey is constructed with HEAT.RDY technology, using advanced materials to maximize air flow to keep players feeling cool, while the fan version features AEROREADY technology, which uses sweat-wicking or absorbent materials to keep the body feeling dry.
The on-field version of the kit is available to purchase for R2199, while the fan version is R1399 – with both available to purchase from today via, adidas retail stores, and at adidas.com/football.
