BROOS ANNOUNCES FINAL BAFANA SQUAD FOR ZAMBIA INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY

Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has named his final squad for the international friendly match against Zambia this month.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup-bound South African senior men’s national team will host regional neighbours Zambia at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Eastern Cape on Saturday, 15 November 2025 as part of Broos’ preparations for the Africa Cup on Nations (AFCON) in Morocco at the end of the year. Kick-off in Gqeberha will be at 15h00.

“There are a few new boys, a few others are not there because I know those players. So, I didn’t have to see them. But I took this opportunity in this game against Zambia to call some new players and to see them in training, see how their mentality is and maybe in the future we can count on them,” the Bafana Bafana coach said.

The team will assemble in Johannesburg on Monday, 10 November 2025.
