Buya Msuthu dominate Motsepe League

31 January 2019 – North West ABC Motsepe League log leaders, Buya Msuthu are well on set to making their third successive appearance in the National Play Offs. This after the reigning champions registered their eighth consecutive win out of 10 outings to maintain their unbeaten run in the campaign.

Msuthu easily brushed aside second from the bottom side, Phatsima All Stars who are flirting with the danger relegation. Stars have four points from their four losses and draws this season and will be playing their football in the SAB League next season should they not improve in their next matches.

Ally’s Tigers maintained pressure on Msuthu with a hard fought 2-1 away win over Marauding Classic FC in a thrilling encounter on Saturday. With the win, Ally’s maintain their status of being strong title contenders with two game in hand.

Tigers welcome the unpredictable Makapanstad Romans before traveling to meet Lerome Real South a week later in what should be a comfortable win for them against the 14th placed side.

An appetizing fixture to look out for this weekend will certainly be between North West University and log leaders, Buya Msuthu. While they have been blowing hot and cold this season, the University side has the potential to cause a banana skid for the log leaders who are aiming at wrapping up the season as early as possible.
