CAF A COACHING DIPLOMA CANDIDATES COMPLETE 3RD PHASE LEARNING

The third phase of the CAF A Coaching Diploma course concluded on Monday afternoon after a hectic 200 hours of learning.

The main topic of the 3rd phase was physical training.

Speaking to www.safa.net CAF Instructor Steve Coetzee said that this phase was very insightful, and that coaches enjoyed the workout.

We worked on periodization, modern technology and how best to use it in football, monitoring load of players and data collection,” said Coetzee.

“We also did a lot of practical sessions with the coaches and analysed a few matches

We are also privileged to have had a visit from CAF who sent Honour Janza to do quality control and ensure that we are following the correct procedure set by CAF when running these coaching courses,” added Coetzee.

The candidates will return for the last phase in June 2024, where they will assessed and then write exams before completing the course.
