CITY’S CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRES CLOSED DURING EASTER WEEKEND
The City of Joburg’s customer service centres citywide will be closed on Saturday, the 15th April 2017, due to the long Easter Weekend.
City’s Spokesperson Kgamanyane Maphologela advices customers who wish to pay their accounts to utilize other third parties.
“All our customer service centres across the City will be closed over the Easter weekend including on Saturday. We wish our customers a happy Easter Weekend. Services at our customer service centres will resume as normal on Tuesday,” says Maphologela.
During the public holidays, customers are advised to pay their accounts using the listed methods below:
- With EasyPay, facilitating a quick payment option at many shops that you visit on a regular basis, including Pick ‘n Pay and Shoprite Checkers
- Debit orders
- Direct deposits at major banks
- ATMs
- Internet and cell phone banking
- SA Post Office
If you didn’t receive an account you still have to pay!
If you haven’t received an account, either pay the same amount as the previous month or call Joburg Connect on 0860 Joburg (562 874) to enquire as to how much you owe. You can also register to receive your accounts by email. All you need to do is to register on the City’s website at www.joburg.org.za and your account will be emailed to you monthly.
Paying your account timeously means you can enjoy your public holidays without the worry of outstanding debt. Customers that have queries can log a query with Joburg Connect at 0860 Joburg (562 874).
