Newly appointed e-Government MEC, Mzikayifani (Mzi) Khumalo recently delivered his maiden budget vote speech.

He meticulously and painstakingly outlined his fast growing  department’s priorities. This former mayor of  Randfontein Local Municipality and Rand City Local Municipality also heads Cooperative governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) and Research and Development in Gauteng.

Khumalo has also served as the ANC chief whip in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature and has been an MPL since 2019.
