MULTICHOICE DISKI SEASON FIVE CHECKS-IN
After four successful years that has seen this league grow in stature and in prestige and also giving a platform to some of the country’s brightest raw talent, season five of the popular PSL Reserve League, MultiChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) will kick-off soon.
Today, Premier Soccer League (PSL) released the 2018/19 MultiChoice Diski Challenge season fixtures.
The Diski Challenge welcomes Highlands Park and Black Leopards – the newly promoted Absa Premiership sides. Black leopards will be participating in the Diski Challenge for the first time while Highlands Park should be on familiar grounds – having participated before they were relegated.
The 2018/19 MultiChoice Diski Challenge season will kick off on Saturday, 08 September 2018.
The opening festival will be on Sunday, 09 September 2018 at Hammersdale Stadium in KwaZulu Natal where six clubs will battle it out. This venue will be used in the Diski Challenge for the first time – a move that is in line with the promise made by both PSL and MultiChoice to take football to communities.
The Fixtures: (Opening Festival)
Maritzburg United will play season three champions Mamelodi Sundowns at 10h00, while another KwaZulu Natal club AmaZulu FC will play Orlando Pirates at 12h30.
Later on the day, the MultiChoice Diski Challenge Champions Lamontville Golden Arrows will begin their title defense when they host Kaizer Chiefs at 15h00.
