Fans of the Soweto Derby will have popular actor Senzo Radebe and reality TV star Ntombee Ngcobo standing between them R200, 000 at the upcoming DStv Premiership clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates scheduled for the FNB stadium this Saturday.
Radebe, an award-winning actor that stars on Entangled season 2 (1Magic) together withNtombee Ngcobo, who stars in reality TV showOfuzeon Mzansi Magic, will don their goalkeeper gear and take their place in the goals at halftime during the Soweto Derby in the AmaFanDayzcompetition.
To win the R200, 000 cash prize during halftime of the fourth instalment of the competition, diski fans will have to perform like LumkoGcabashe, who scored his penaltly kick against Wiseman Mncube from the telenovela My Brother’s Keeper, to walk away as the Fan of the Matchin Kwazulu Natal two weeks ago.
Gcabashe, an ardent Chiefs fan, had won R100 000 cashby simply converting his spot kick but thanks to the fact that he is an active DStv Compact subscriber or higher, his prize money was doubled to R200 000.
To enter the competition, fans are encouraged to get their match tickets then visit the DStv activation zone at FNB stadium on match day, then sign up with DStv promoters to stand a chance to be one of three participants in a sudden death penalty shootout against Radebe andNgcobo at halftime.
In the first threeAmaFanDayzoutings in August, September and October DStv stars Hope Mbhele (Stellenbosch FC vs SuperSport United), Theodore Jantjies and ZikhonaSodlaka (Cape Town City vs Cape Town Spurs), as well as Luyanda Zwane and Wiseman Mncube (Golden Arrows vs Kaizer Chiefs) were the goalkeepers used during the halftime competition.
In the lead up to the match, DStv hosted AmaFanDayz roadshow yesterday at Tembisa Mall where local fans in the Ekurhuleni were given an opportunity to win match tickets and branded merchandise.
