The much anticipated Soweto derby match between arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates is happening today and the calabash FNB stadium is expected to be packed to the rafters with throngs of football fans.
Entertainment and activations will top up this fierce rivalry action packed match.
But the big question of the day is who will win this big showdown.
Stadium Management made announcement that a lot of required logistical planning has been done with distinction in and outside the stadium, adding that they were confident the newly revamped pitch will be in a tip top shape and condition.
Bertie Grobbelaar, Managing Director Stadium Management urged fans to arrive early because of expected gridlocked traffic and issued a stern warning about fake tickets sold outside the stadium.
Grobbelaar also revealed that they have changed their ticketing service provider and structure in order to curb that challenge.
“We ve changed our ticketing structure and verification system. There is a system in place to deal with the verification of tickets.”
