This mother of all Kasi Football tournaments, dubbed Kasi World Cup or Snekeneke pre-festive football tournament is famous for scintillating and high octane football and a packed to the rafters crowd that comes from all over the country.
Best of the best teams lock horns for a coveted trophy and a whooping earth- shattering price money. This tournament is billed to kick-start Saturday 28 October and will be played at block 7 grounds in Snake Park Soweto .
During the recent 2023  historic launch  and draw held at SUD restaurant in the famous Vilakazi Street , Orlando West SOWETO, Organisers told the packed audience and stakeholders this tournament was massively growing in leap and bounds than it was expected within a short space of time  and is tailor-made to unearth and expose rare township talent.
They also revealed this much awaited tournament is one of the biggest tourney ekasi has seen in the entire country, meant to inspire other tournaments and create a platform for professional football scouts.
They also issued a stern warning to participating clubs to adhere and respect the tournament rules and regulations or face immediate expulsion and disqualification should they be found doing nefarious acts that brings the tournament into disrepute.

Co-Founder, Chairman and Brainchild behind the tournament, Tshidiso Leshaba, promised an epic, bigger, better and well organised fourth instalment Football tournament that will get tongues wagging for the test of time.
He also revealed 32 teams selected from other big tournaments and last year’s winners will be participating in this tournament.
He also invited other potential sponsors to come on board and join this massive football project.

- This tournament is bankrolled and supported by amongst other sponsors Harmony Gold, City of Joburg and a leading door manufacturing company Kagolo Doors.
- Winners of the tournament will walk home with a whooping R220 000, gold medals plus a soccer kit.
- Runners up will pocket R100 000, silver medals plus a soccer kit.
- Third and fourth placed teams will pocket R10 000 each respectively.
- Player of the tournament will take home R25 000.
- Top goal scorer will pocket R20 000.
- Goalkeeper of the tournament will get a trophy and R20 000.
- And all these awards are named after the deceased officials which will be chronicled in a sequel story.
- Coach of the tournament will get R20 000.
