JOHANNESBURG TEAMS SET TO BATTLE FOR PLACES IN THE 2026 ENGEN KNOCKOUT CHALLENGE

 The journey to the 2026 Engen Knockout Challenge Johannesburg leg gets underway this weekend as some of the region’s most promising young footballers compete in the highly anticipated qualifying tournament at Wits Marks Park Stadium and Sturrock Park in Johannesburg from 13 to 15 June 2026.

Hosted by Engen in partnership with SAFA Johannesburg, the annual qualifiers will bring together boys’ Under-18 and girls’ Under-20 teams from across the region, all aiming to secure a spot in this year’s Engen Knockout Challenge.

In the girls’ Under-20 division, defending champions University of Johannesburg Ladies will be determined to successfully defend their title, while Panorama FC return as the reigning boys’ Under-18 champions after claiming top honours at the 2025 Johannesburg leg of the tournament.

The Engen Knockout Challenge will feature 32 teams equally split between boys and girls.
