Believe it or not !!!! Dozens of people converged at Soweto Cricket Oval in Rockville which is also known as Elkah Cricket Stadium for the much revered and well publicised Soweto Kota Festival.
They braved the unrelenting scorching heat and came in numbers for this family fun day event.
A marvellous crowd did not disappoint and they fully gave the event a maximum support and also financially backed the SMME’S who had displayed in their stalls food, clothing brands and many more.
BUT SADLY THE UNSAVIOURY THING WAS DOZENS OF THE FOURTH ESTATES MEMBERS WERE LEFT IN LIMBO DUE FEEBLE MINDED QUASI (MBUMBULU) INCONSIDERATE PR COMPANIES THAT WERE TASKED TO ISSUE ENTRY TICKETS, ACCREDITATIONS AND TO LOOK AFTER THE WELL BEING OF THE MEDIA.
Nevertheless CASTLE LAGER( operating under the tutelage of M-SportsMarketing) WAS AT HAND TO HOST THE MEDIA ENTOURAGE WITHOUT ANY QUALMS.
The said generous company gave the media a five star treatment, and were over-subscribed as a result but never complained. They showed professionalism and Ubuntu.
As usual TymeBank one of the festival bankroller was also visible and had a beautiful picturesque stall that assisted its clientele.
Indefatigable and workaholic, Lucia Malapane, Marketing Manager at TymeBank told this publication they were happy with the turnout.
“Our clients are came in numbers to collect their cards . Others came in numbers to open new accounts,” she said.
