After a long wait, Umkhokha is back on our tv screens. This time, the popular drama series that received stellar reviews from fans on Mzansi Magic is now on Showmax. The faith-based series will premiere on today Monday, 11 April, on the streaming service.
Stacked to the brim with an exceptional ensemble cast Umkhokha is produced by Rhythm World. Some of the biggest names in the show include Sibonile Ngubane as Difa, Deli Malinga as MaMzobe, Sthandiwe Kgoroge as MaNzimande, Nay Maps as Siphamandla, Linda Sokhulu as Zodwa, Hope Mbhele as MaBusi and Kwezi Ndlovu as Nobuntu.
The drama series is about two families fighting for a church, Ithempeli Lenkosi, after the leader dies.
According to Mandla KaNozulu, the Executive Producer of the show, Rhythm World was thrilled that the Umkhokha was now on Showmax.
