As part of Sun Fest, which runs at Sun City between June to August 2025, the Resort will be celebrating dad’s this Father’s Day, with a fun exciting day full of entertainment, good vibes and gourmet dining fit for a king.

Join Sun City for a special Father’s Day celebration as it honours all the incredible dads on Saturday, 14 June 2025. An exciting day with activities for the whole family is planned, including:
· Live entertainment – sit back and enjoy a perfect selection of music to set the perfect atmosphere.
· Activities – a chance to show off your skills in a potjiekos cook-off.
· Gourmet dining – indulge in a specifically designed menu featuring delectable dishes and sweet treats.
· Giveaways – exciting prizes and giveaways throughout the event.
· Photo Booth & Memories – capture the moment with beautiful, themed photo opportunities.
After a 14h00 arrival, participants will be briefed on the potjiekos competition, with the cook-off beginning at 15h35. We all know a good potjie takes time, so there’ll be entertainment to keep the mood festive until the judging at 17h30. After the prize giving, dinner will be served, from a hot and a cold buffet, as well as a potato station with toppings like super melty cheese sauce, sour cream, beurre noisette, smokey chipotle, shredded chicken, bacon bits, dill cucumber, spring onion, sauté mushroom, matured gouda, crushed black pepper, lime aioli, and sumac.
