Amajimbos

3 April 2018 – With the 2018 school calender currently on recess, the South African U17 men’s national team is currently in camp under the auspices of Amajimbos head coach, Molefi Ntseki at the SAFA Technical Centre, south of Johannesburg.

The Amajimbos mentor who has had his squad since the beginning of the Easter weekend has been working tirelessly with his technical staff on the boys’ physical, mental and technical strength through his tried and tested coaching methodology.

Ntseki, who is aiming to qualify for his second FIFA U17 World Cup emphasised the importance of continuation and patience when working with youngsters and believes that this group of players has grown since their last training camp in January this year but believes that there is still some work that it needs to be done.

“I believe my players have grown with every training session but there are a few things that we still need to work on. They lose concentration at times however; I believe that training the youth is a skill that needs a lot of patience” said Ntseki.

The squad continues its training program and will break camp over this coming weekend after playing a few practice matches.
