SAFA embark on another coaching course roadshow
Following a successful countrywide coaching course roadshow last month, the South African Football Association (SAFA) has confirmed its next phase of coaching courses that will be taking place across different parts of the country.
Coaching courses ranging from the SAFA D, C and B licences will be conducted by the Association as it continues working towards increasing the number of qualified coaches in the country.
Provinces set to host the programmes from May to July include, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, North West and Free State.
Speaking ahead of the next rollout, SAFA’s Head of coaching development, Frans Mogashoa said the Association is indeed headed towards the right direction with regards to football development.
“Talent identification and nurturing players is almost impossible without equipped and qualified coaches,” said Mogashoa.
“We have a clear plan of action that is in line with the Association’s Vision 2022 and overall mandate of football development. We urge aspiring coaches to be in touch with their Local Football Associations (LFA’s) and partner with the Association to further improve football in the country,” added Mogashoa.
