
Following the conclusion of the first round of Engen Knockout Challenge qualifiers, SAFA Cape Town is preparing to stage the second round of Engen Knockout Challenge Cape Town qualifiers set to take place at the Strandfontein Sports Complex in Cape Town on Sunday, 24 May.
A total of 152 boys U-18 teams and 30 girls U-20 teams from across Cape Town registered for this season of the Cape Town qualifiers of the Cape Town Engen Knockout Challenge.
Cape Town City FC are the reigning champions in the boys’ division, while Cape Town Roses hold the title in the Girls division.

Following last weekend’s round, 76 teams remain in the boys’ division, while 10 teams remain in the girls’ divisions respectively.
The third and final round of qualifiers will be played on Sunday, 7 June where the final list of 16 teams in both the Boys U-18 and Girls U-20 divisions will be concluded for the Cape Town leg of the Engen Knockout Challenge set to be held later this year.
Winners of the Cape Town Engen Knockout Challenge will gain automatic qualification to the Engen Champ of Champs where they will represent Cape Town at the finals in Gauteng.
