This Mzansi best annual entertainment attraction and shopping extravaganza show kicked off yesterday and dozens of fun lovers attended the first day with cavity free smiles and spirited vigour.
They got a dose of entertainment worth every penny they spent. And to crown it all their safety during the hours they spent at the show was 100%.
In an informal snap survey conducted by this reporter, all of them gave Rand Show a unanimous thumbs up.
On the sidelines, this publication spoke to Craig Newman, Group Chief Executive Officer GL events.
“History tells us when the weather is good, an estimated 120 000 visitors could be seen descending to the Rand Show throughout the full period.”
Newman was also on cloud nine that they have managed to pull through the much anticipated show after an absence during the height of the Covid-19 period.
“We are back and happy to be back without any restrictions and we urge fun lovers to come in numbers and enjoy.”
DID YOU KNOW?
The only years when this annual show was put on hold is during the Great Depression in the 1940’s and during the recent Covid-19 years.
