As KFC celebrates the 15th anniversary of its partnership with Cricket South Africa for the Mini-Cricket programme, it is evident that this initiative has become a cornerstone of youth development in the country. The success of the KFC National Seminar serves as a testament to the programme’s enduring impact and the unwavering commitment of its volunteer coaches.

As part of the national seminar experience, the KFC Mini-Cricket volunteer coaches had the opportunity to share their insights, draw inspiration from guest speakers such as Organisational Behaviour Specialist Simphiwe Moyo, and learn new techniques while discussing strategies to further enhance the programme’s effectiveness.

To appreciate the ongoing impact they make across the country, the coaches had the opportunity to engage with Proteas stars Lara Goodall, Rassie van der Dussen, Andile Phehlukwayo and former cricketer Mignon du Preez —athletes whose careers have also been positively influenced by the programme.
